Is it an upside down pineapple cake? Do I get a prize for being right??? Maybe a slice of the cake :)

Oh Nora, that is a dead give-away, pineapple upside down cake of course :)

Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my blog and leaving a comment. I am glad that I have discovered yours. I am adding you to my blogroll and feeds.

Oh my God! Fresh pineapple. It´s my favorite fruit, witout doubt. Canned pineapples will do. I often make a dessert: Pineapple pie

By the way, how come, you´re using the Swedish word "Smörgåsbord"?

Alrightie....Everyone was right of course. I knew it was too easy, but I was having a bit of fun with the pineapple before I chopped it up ;-)

Cynthia, thank you! I've also added you to my blog roll. I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now but never left a comment till now. You've got a wonderful mix of recipes and great photos.

Karin, thanks for dropping by! Pineapples are great, huh? It's one of my fav. fruits as a child. I used that Swedish word because I felt that it sounded better than "buffet" :-) Oh, and thanks for the pineapple pie recipe. It sounds delicious - I love crème fraiche!

Pineapple upside down cake! YUM! May I please have a slice? :)

Truffle, if you lived any closer, you know that i would give you a slice (or more!). If I don't have a chance to give away my cakes to friends, I usually freeze half of what I bake because I want to bake more cakes! Plus, when I am feeling too lazy to bake, it's nice knowing that I have some frozen treats waiting for me in the freezer.
